We advise individuals to call their insurance company to confirm their health care coverage. Be certain to ask if the insurance company requires any prior authorization; if yes, what procedures should be followed to acquire prior authorization for mental health services.

Q: What procedures do I need to follow to become a patient at Spires Behavioral Health Care Center, PLLC?
A: First, contact Spires Behavioral Health Care Center, PLLC and request to become a new patient. When requesting to become a new patient there will be a series of questions that you will have to answer (ex: Name, Date of Birth, etc.) Please have your insurance information handy. Questions pertaining to your insurance carrier will be asked (ex: Insurance Policy Identification Number, Group Number) by the person assisting the caller.
Once we have received the necessary information and verified your coverage we will schdule a date and time for you to be seen at our office. If insurance coverage can not be established at the time of the initial call we will contact you after the coverage has been established to set up an appointment.
Thirdly, you will visit our office on your scheduled date and time for your first appointment with a licensed psychotherapist. We strongly advise that you arrive
(15 ) minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete the necessary paperwork. However, you may come by our office prior to your scheduled visit and pick up a New Patient Packet; (Call to confirm that the office is open - operating hours are by appointment only.) The initial visit is often referred to as a Diagnostic Evaluation. This session may last anywhere from (45)minutes to (1)hour.
